jobmaxx Extension — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
The jobmaxx browser extension (“the extension”) helps you log job applications you find on supported job boards into your jobmaxx tracker. This policy explains what the extension accesses and what it does with it.
What the extension accesses
- Job-posting page content. On supported job boards, and on the current tab when you click the extension, it reads the page to extract job details: company name, role title, location, and the posting URL. This happens locally, in your browser, only to pre-fill the application you’re logging.
- A single setting. It stores your jobmaxx dashboard URL using the browser’s storage API so it knows where to send imports. This stays in your browser.
What the extension does with it
- When you log an application, the extracted job details (company, role, location, URL) are passed to your jobmaxx dashboard, which saves them to your account through the normal jobmaxx web session.
- The extension does not handle, store, or transmit your jobmaxx password or login credentials. Saving relies on you already being signed in to jobmaxx in your browser.
What the extension does not do
- It does not collect or transmit data from pages other than the job details described above.
- It does not sell or share your data with third parties.
- It does not use analytics or tracking.
- It does not load or execute remote code.
Data you submit to jobmaxx
Application records you log are stored in your jobmaxx account and governed by jobmaxx’s service. You can edit or delete them from your dashboard at any time.
